Energy Matters was established in 2006 to provide independent building energy management consultancy and test services for domestic and non-domestic buildings.

 

Energy Matters are the FIRST trained Building Energy Assessors in Ireland and are member of the National Panel of Experts for Air Permeability testing, which performs testing for Sustainable Energy Ireland.

 

In September 2007 Energy Matters designed, tested and obtained final BER certification for the first A Rated houses in Ireland!.  In April 2009, Energy Matters also have the distinction of designing and officially certifying the first A-rated Non-domestic building in Ireland.  See our Case Studies page for further details.  Since being established, Energy Matters have worked on a large number of different project types such as New Build Energy Efficient and "House of Tomorrow" Residential Developments, New Build one-off Dwellings, Energy Efficient Commerical Unit Renovations and Audits.
